2:00 Check in to our hotel. Explore our neighborhood near the Rialto Bridge. At 5:00, meet our Venice food guide, who will take us to 3-4 osteria that specialize in cichetti. (small plates and wine). Think of it as a bar (bacari) crawl!

Thursday 9/24

Breakfast served at hotel. Meet a local chef at one of Europe’s most amazing outdoor markets, the Rialto Market. Stroll the market while chef shops for lunch and explains some of the items in the market, then go to the chef’s home for a cooking class, then lunch. This will be a 4-5 hour experience. Dinner on your own.

islands of Murano
Friday, 9/25

After breakfast take a morning boat to the islands of Murano (known for lace) and Burano (known for hand blown glass). Visit a glass shop for a glass blowing demonstration, then have a long, late lunch at one of Burano’s iconic seafood osterias. Return to Venice, then visit some of the different canal hot spots for apertivo and cichetti.

Saturday, 9/26

 Morning and lunch are on your own. This would be your chance to visit St. Marks, the Doge’s Palace, the Guggenheim Museum or enjoy a gondola ride. Our last night will feature dinner at one of Venice’s top local spots.
